Privacy policy

Privacy, stated plainly.

Stackorix is published by Ivor Nicholaus in Tanzania. This policy describes the initial static website and direct email contact channel.

Publisher and contact

Stackorix is published by Ivor Nicholaus in Tanzania. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to ivornicholaus03@proton.me.

Information collected

The website does not include analytics, advertising pixels, user accounts, comments, or a web contact form. If you email Stackorix directly, Ivor receives your email address, message contents, and any other information you choose to include.

How correspondence is used

Direct correspondence is used to respond to inquiries, handle corrections and privacy requests, evaluate reader suggestions, and maintain necessary records of the conversation. Stackorix does not sell email addresses or use direct correspondence to create an advertising profile.

Hosting and technical logs

When the site is deployed, its hosting and network providers may process basic technical data—such as IP address, request time, browser information, and requested URL—to deliver and secure the site. The final live policy should name the chosen providers and link to their applicable privacy terms.

Cookies and local storage

The initial codebase does not set optional analytics or advertising cookies and does not use browser storage for tracking. Hosting or security services may use strictly necessary mechanisms. This section must be updated before adding any non-essential cookie.

External and affiliate links

Links to third-party websites are governed by those sites’ privacy practices. No active affiliate links are present in the initial codebase. If they are added later, the affiliate disclosure and this policy will be updated as needed.

Retention and requests

Email correspondence is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose of the conversation, recordkeeping, or legal obligations. You may ask Ivor to provide, correct, or delete personal information held in direct correspondence, subject to any obligation to retain it.

Tanzanian data protection

Tanzania’s Personal Data Protection Commission oversees the Personal Data Protection Act, Cap. 44. Information about data-subject rights, registration, and complaints is available from the official PDPC website.
